Biography:
Patty is originally from Cuba and resides in Miami, Florida. She received her B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 2011. Upon graduating she moved back to Miami to work in management consulting for firms in Latin America and the Caribbean. In her spare time she was actively engaged in the Miami community by facilitating Gen‐Ex Miami, a course that provides a safe space for men and women to learn, share, and explore their identities, by volunteering in an immigrant youth empowerment program, and by participating in a leadership development program for young professionals in the Greater Miami area. She is currently getting her Masters in Applied Positive Psychology at the UPENN. After completing the MAPP program she intends to work with individuals and communities to facilitate positive social change by enabling people to express themselves naturally, vigorously and spontaneously.
